Residents may enjoy a variety of delicious and nutritious meals, and friendly conversation  in our community dining room. For those unable to join us in the dining room, meals are served in the rooms. Meals are prepared with individual preferences in mind and are always served hot and delicious. Three appetizing meals and a variety of snacks are served daily.

Our facility provides and encourages our residents to actively participate in activities functions such as games, music, religious services as desired, and entertainment. This encourages socialization and a sense of community for our residents.

The Activities Departments ultimate goal is to enhance long term care living by providing activity choices based on residents past and present interest.

To determine the resident’s interests, the Activity Department interviews residents and their family members, and observes residents during our many planned activities.

This department advocates for materials and services for our residents such as Library Books, Library for the Blind, and other books1Community Resources Available to our residents.

Activities schedules holiday events, monthly birthday parties, celebrations for National Nursing Home Week, and invites musicians to visit and perform for residents and their family members. They also invite local historians to visit, bringing with them stories and artifacts. Every generation has a story to tell and a history to share, and our residents enjoy sharing theirs.

All of these many activities keeps our residents in touch with their community.

But the number one job of our Activities Department is seeing that everyone has fun and enjoys being a part of our facility family.
